Autism Acceptance Month celebrates and honors the experiences and identities of autistic individuals. It emphasizes moving beyond awareness towards meaningful acceptance, understanding, inclusion, and support.

Take Action for Libraries Day is held annually on Thursday of National Library Week, April 10 in 2025. This year, as the IMLS and library funding are under attack, ALA encourages every library advocate to Show Up for Our Libraries by telling Congress to protect federal support for libraries.
