Josias Bartram grew up in upstate New York and has been working in libraries for over a decade. After earning his MS at Syracuse University, he went on to work in libraries all across the country—from Ithaca, New York to New Castle County, Delaware to Malibu, California. Most recently, he was a librarian at Pepperdine University in California. The father of two teenagers, Bartram loves hiking, sailing, and getting to try different cuisines. As the Broome County Library’s Director, he looks forward to developing new and exciting programs for the library while celebrating its illustrious history.
