There are many incredible fiction books about the Holocaust. This list does not include any of them, though. Some of the books below are historical fiction, but they focus on other periods. Not all of them are joyful, but they highlight Jewish experiences and lives in other points of time. Learning about the Holocaust is important, but it’s also important to recognize that Jewish people exist outside of that one period of time. These books celebrate that fact.
