Broome County Public Library will close at 1PM on Tuesday, December 24. The library will be closed on December 25 and 26. We will reopen Saturday, December 27 at 9AM.

Join us for a fun interactive workshop focused on growing plants in containers and grow bags.  This in-person workshop will cover container gardening basics, including:

  • The Benefits of Growing in Containers and Grow Bags
  • Choosing the right container and spacing for your plants
  • Plant selection and placement throughout the seasons
  • Appropriate watering, fertilizing and container plant care
  • Non-chemical solutions to common pests and diseases
